Okay, I may dislike No Such Luck and despise Lynn Jr, but trying to go after the people behind the episode or depicting them being hurt like this is just terrible.

I have seen that picture and analyzed it over and over and over again. This is what I think of it.

At first glance, yes, it's hate art made because of a simple mistake - which makes it bad and offensive. However, if you look at it deeper, you will see that there's actually a deeper meaning in this drawing and also the truth that's hidden behind what some people will think it's just useless claims Komi does in order to avoid criticism. The Chris Savino in this drawing is not only a representation of the real Savino, but also the entire crew of the show - specifically the writers, when they are probably looking at all the criticism - it's the "slap in the face" (or, in this case, "kick in the face") metaphor done literally. Lynn in this drawing is the representation of those so-called Loud House "fans" (I'm not gonna think of them as "true" Loud House fans AT ALL), who complain about the controversial bad episodes and even went as far as to threaten the writers with death just because of those bad episodes (and let's be honest, I think Lynn would actually act like this if she saw all the hate towards her just because of her malicious role in "No Such Luck"). Lincoln is the representation of the saner fans, as he observes his sister beat their creator up for giving her a bad reputation in front of everyone in real life - clearly unhappy about the way his sister is behaving. His emotionless expression and words are trying to suggest that it's not the first time Lynn has done something like this to their creator (sadly).

As for Komi saying that the drawing is his way to tell Savino that he likes him, and wants him to do better, despite drawing Lynn beating him up? I think he was using reverse psychology - which is something that many seemed to forget about. Not that it makes the drawing any better, through; I will say that, if this drawing was reverse psychology, then Komi used it TERRIBLY.

In my honest opinion, and from this analysis that I've done (albeit a kinda weak one), this drawing was trying to satirize the way unstable fans badmouth the show's crew just because of a bad episode that can EASILY be avoided and how far they take it to the point of ACTUALLY threatening them, and how the saner fans despise their polar opposites for that. Which was probably the drawing's joke and what Komi was talking about when he said the drawing was meant to be "black comedy" (the "black comedy" being its satire of the dark side of the show's fandom).

I think all of this criticism and hatred towards the author because of this picture originated from people quickly jumping to conclusions, taking the drawing out of context, and assuming it was hate art towards the writers, without even bothering to dig deeper into it. I wrote this in order to show that there was ACTUALLY a bit of truth behind his statements about the drawing and this is what I think the drawing really is. When looking at this drawing with ALL of these data in mind, it makes the drawing look clever. Komi actually did an amazing use of his brain when trying to use reverse psychology to get the picture's message across and he was actually a LOT smarter than we thought. Also, I think many people were overreacting by unwatching Komi and ignoring all of the good fanart he's made of the show, over ONE shitty picture - they're, in a context, doing the same thing here as the dark side of the fandom is doing with the writers that manage to churn out an infamously bad episode (ignore all of their good episodes over ONE shitty episode of theirs), which makes their accussations hypocritical and (sorry for how harsh this is gonna be) makes them no better than they're making out the darker side of the fandom to be.

And this is the deeper meaning of the image. I wish more people could see it this way, because it looks and sounds WAY smarter than people are making it out to be.

I am NOT trying to defend Komi, through. I mean, the picture is still bad since the joke isn't funny in the slightlest. Just thought I needed to say this since I think a lot of people are missing the point here.
