In this same vein....I now get why Pulp Friction is considered awesome. No joking. No trying to appease to the masses. No going back on this.

The awkward dialogue is MEANT to be written that way. After all, the episode is aiming to be a satire of superhero comics, most specifically the old-timey 60's comics. It's meant to show that pieces of fiction can still have an influence on our lives, whether we notice it or not. Lincoln including his sisters into the comic is a way of showing how much he loves them, enough to give each of them their own superhero identities. Principal Huggins is very relatable in the sense of someone who, having no one else to rely on, has his Ace Savvy comics to keep him happy, and so it's perfectly understandable why he would do whatever he could to get the comic sent to Bill Buck. Let's face it, a lot of us would do similar things in such a situation. And the sisters saying that the comic would make them famous was the point of their arc, since their decision to help Huggins after he opens up really shows that they are making a sacrifice in order to help someone realize his biggest dream, which is one of the kindest things you could do to a person.

If that really is the case....I officially take back every bad thing I've ever said about this episode. Every single one of them.

First off, I applaud both you and :iconprstorm: for re-watching your most hated episodes and having changed your opinions on them in a very immense way. clap remake 1a
Secondly, so would you be saying that Lincoln's comic is kind of supposed to be like the 60's Batman show?
